Leavenworth, Kan.— Karlos Humphreys of the University of Saint Mary has earned the KCAC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor, the conference office announced Tuesday morning. Student-athletes are selected for their performances from March 23-29 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Athletic Solutions.
Karlos has had an excellent start to his outdoor season, his 7
th place finish at SBU this past weekend sealed his current No. 3 overall spot in the KCAC in the men's 200m race.
Humphreys has shined in more than just the 200m, becoming an integral asset to the Spire men's 4x400m relay team. To kick off the season in the Spire Team Challenge earlier this month, Karlos and his team glided into 1
st place overall in the men's 4x400, with a final time of 3:17.59.
Karlos and his USM teammates will continue their already strong outing Thursday, April 9
th through Friday the 10
th at the UCM Invite in Warrensburg, Missouri.
