Josie Tyrrell of the University of Saint Mary, named KCAC Women's Runner of the Week the conference office announced Monday. Student-athletes are selected for their performances from Sept. 1-7 by a vote of conference Sports Information Directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.

Tyrrell, a senior from Shawnee, Kansas, dominated the course at the Spire Sunset Showdown on August 29th, running a 5K time of 18:18, over 30 seconds faster than the second place finisher. Josie and her Spire teammates look to take on the Greeno/Dirkson Invite in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday, September 20th.
