Senior Josie Tyrrell was named KCAC Cross Country Women's Runner of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Student-athletes were selected for their performances from Oct. 6-12 by a vote of conference Sports Information Directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.

Tyrrell has continued her successful season, taking home the individual title at the Allen Community College Firestarter meet last week with a time of 18:06 in the 5K. This marks the second time this season that Tyrell has been named the KCAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. 

Head Coach, Alstin Benton remarked "We are very proud to see all Josie's hard work translate to the course."
