Leavenworth, Kan.-In a Saturday afternoon conference match up, the University of Saint Mary Spires secured a big win in a decisive 5-2 victory against the Bethany College (KS) Swedes. The match saw the Spires taking control right from the start and maintaining a solid lead throughout the game.
The match kicked off with the Spires establishing an early dominance, as
Robin Van Voorst scored two goals in the first half, both assisted by
Matias Allou and
Alfie Scandle, setting a confident tone for the team. By halftime, the scoreboard read 2-0 in favor of Saint Mary, reflecting their offensive effectiveness and tactical execution. The second half of the game continued in favor of the Spires, with
