LAWRENCE, KAN. - The University of Saint Mary women's volleyball team earned a dominant 3-0 victory over Haskell University. USM controlled the match from start to finish, racking up 37 total kills, with Emma Scalise leading the team with 6 kills. On defense, the Spires were equally strong, recording 71 digs and 4 blocks to stifle Haskell's offense.
Haskell never got within 5 points of USM in any set, as the Spires maintained a comfortable lead throughout the match. A total of 24 players saw game action in what was a well-balanced team win.
With this victory, USM demonstrated their strong overall performance and depth to secure the 3-0 sweep.
