Saint Mary women's basketball traveled to Kansas City, MO for an exhibition contest on Sunday. The Spires took on NCAA Division II opponent, Rockhurst.

The Spires got 15 points and five rebounds from Imani White. Kelsey Switzer added 14 points while Ashley Hinkle provided 10 points and five rebounds.

Saint Mary would trail by 41-27 at the end of the first half, but the Spires matched Rockhurst 32-32 in the second half. The Spires couldn't gain any ground however and took a 73-59 loss.

The women's basketball team will return to action tonight with another exhibition match with NCAA Division II opponent, Washburn. The game will be played at Washburn in Topeka, KS. Tip off is scheduled for 7pm.
