The Saint Mary women's basketball team traveled to Topeka, KS for their second exhibition game in two nights. The Spires faced off with NCAA Division II opponent Washburn.

Saint Mary got 15 points, three steals and two assists out of Ashley Hinkle. Hinkle was the leading scorer for the Spires. Cassidy Harbert provided the team high in rebounds with five. She also scored five points. Candy De Los Reyes scored nine points. The Spires took an 89-59 loss but outscored the Ichabods 22-19 in the fourth quarter.

Saint Mary will open KCAC play on Thursday at 6pm when they host Kansas Wesleyan.
