Wichita, Kan.— The University of Saint Mary fell 4-1 to Friends (KS) in conference action this evening, Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Adair-Austin Stadium in Wichita, Kansas. Mnisi extended the lead to 3-0 just 37 seconds into the second half, finishing off an assist from Aranda. Mendoza answered at 53:47, scoring unassisted on Saint Mary's first shot of the match. The goal cut the deficit to 3-1, and the Spires held that margin until the final seconds.

DeMaranville made four more saves after halftime, denying Minjares at 59:13 and stopping Granger headers at 64:55 and 67:21. Taylor Heim put USM's second shot on target at 70:07, but Friends goalkeeper Martinez made the save.
