LEAVENWORTH, KAN. - The University of Saint Mary women's basketball team increase their record to 2-0 with an emphatic 85-59 victory over York. The Spires, now 2-0 in the KCAC and 3-4 overall, took control early, building a 45-29 lead by halftime and never relinquishing control.

The Spires showcased a balanced offensive attack and stingy defense, forcing 19 York turnovers and converting them into 17 points. Saint Mary also out-rebounded York 37-28, creating second-chance opportunities that contributed to their decisive win.

• Alanis Delgado led the offensive charge with a team-high 18 points, shooting 6-for-14 from the field, including 4-for-8 from beyond the arc. She also added seven rebounds and two steals, setting the tone on both ends of the court.
• Addison Schletzbaum provided a strong spark off the bench, scoring 13 points while grabbing five rebounds and going 5-for-8 from the free-throw line.
