LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – With volleyball season just around the corner, the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the Preseason All-KCAC team with three Spires being named to the list.
Bianca Asheim, Cody Offerle and Ashley Van Gieson are part of the 22 individuals list.
Asheim is coming off a season in which she was second on the team with 256 kills and compiled 109 digs and 45 total blocks. Offerle led the Spires with 393 kills and 48 service aces. She also had 150 digs and 38 total blocks.
Van Gieson recorded 91 kills, 680 assists, 41 service aces, 353 digs and 37 total blocks in 2018 for Saint Mary.
The Spires three selections tied for the most in the conference with Ottawa and McPherson.
