Ottawa, Kan. – The University of Saint Mary Spires fell short, 84-76 in their season opener against the Benedictine College Ravens in the KCAC-HAAC Classic on Friday evening.
The Spires are 0-1 to begin the season.
GAME FLOW
The Spires led the way the entire first half, before a pair of FT's from Kayla Staley gave the Ravens a 39-37 lead going into halftime. Benedictine held on the rest of the way with their largest lead being 11. Senior guard Tiani White scored a career high 29 points, and Bailey Massoth ended the game with 19.
