Grant Greenberg and Marcus Mondaine of the Saint Mary men's basketball swept the KCAC Player of the Week Awards this week. Greenberg was named KCAC Offensive Player of the Week while Mondaine was recognized as the KCAC Defensive Player of the week.

Greenberg was in solid form last week for Saint Mary as the Spires went 1-1 on the week against two strong teams. In a win over Cardinal Stritch, Greenberg posted a double-double with 30 points and 11 rebounds and was a perfect 16 for 16 from the free throw line. The next day against No. 9 Dakota Wesleyan, Greenberg scored 28 points in a near upset as Saint Mary was edged with two late free throws.

Mondaine was a force on the boards last week for Saint Mary. He pulled down 11 rebounds in a near upset of No. 9 Dakota Wesleyan and pulled down 13 rebounds in a win over Cardinal Stritch. Mondaine averaged 12 rebounds a game in two games played.
