Saint Mary volleyball was taken down in three sets by Ottawa at home on Monday. The Spires are now 5-13 on the season and in KCAC play. Saint Mary currently holds the #8 spot in the KCAC Standings qualifying them for the KCAC Tournament. They are one game in front of Sterling with two matches left in the season.

Maleka Benjamin posted 12 kills for the Spires to lead the offensive attack while Danielle Dowdy had 15 assists and Sydney Moon had 12 assists. Allyssa Koki led the defense with 16 digs in the match. Ottawa posted 46 kills to Saint Mary's 29.

Next up for the Spires is a road match at Southwestern on Wednesday night at 7pm. Saint Mary defeated the Moundbuilders at home earlier this season.
