York, Neb.—Spire dance left it all on the floor yesterday afternoon at the KCAC Championships on the campus of York University.
The USM dancers, at the helm of
Kinleigh Brecheisen, worked tirelessly all year to perfect their routines and continued to grow throughout. The comp squad consisting of
Jaeden Abitz,
Natalia Caldwell,
Delilah Jimenez,
Jayden Salb,
Christina Vue,
Kira Wagner, and
Annmarie Walton poured everything they had into their routine at the conference stage, and proudly came home with 4
th place overall and a final score of 78.63.
However, this would not be enough to send the Spire dancers to the NAIA Cheer and Dance National Championships and USM will see their season come to a close this weekend. The University of Saint Mary congratulates the Spire dancers and coach Brecheisen on a hard fought season, with performances to be proud of. We eagerly await your return to competition next season!
