Leavenworth, Kan.- The Unversity of Saint Mary Women's Flag Football team hosted the Ottawa Braves on Tuesday, resulting in a 34-0 loss. The Spires are now 0-4 overall and 0-4 in conference play. 

After two quick touchdowns from the Braves, the Spires put together a 45-yard drive, but the drive stalled out at around midfield, and Saint Mary was forced to punt. On the ensuing Ottawa drive, USM was able to stop the Braves on fourth down and had a short field to work with. However, Saint Mary could not turn the possession into points. The Braves scored one more time before the half, taking a 13-0 lead. 

After the break, Ottawa scored three more unanswered touchdowns to make it a 34-0 ball game. With ten minutes to go in the fourth quarter, the game was called due to severe weather in the area, making the final 34-0 Ottawa.
