Kansas City, Mo.- The University of Saint Mary Men's Tennis team hosted John Brown University at their Clayview indoor site on Friday, resulting in a 6-1 loss for Saint Mary. The Spires are now 1-4 in team duals this year. 

Doubles

Kevin Eutsey and Evan Maritz had the only win for Saint Mary in the doubles matches. The pair won their set 7-5. However, the Spires could not get another doubles win and dropped the point to John Brown. 

Singles

Maritz also had the only win for the Spires in the singles matches, beating his opponent in two sets, 6-4 and 6-0. Jack Contrucci and Leyton Ross nearly won their singles matches but came up just short.
