SALINA, KAN. – The University of Saint Mary women's soccer team suffered their first conference loss to Kansas Wesleyan University 2-1 Wednesday night on the road.
The Spires are now 3-3-1 on the season, and 1-1-1 KCAC.
Kansas Wesleyan took the first shots of the game, one missing wide, and the other was snagged by Lauryn Airy to deny the Coyotes the goal. After a foul on KWU, Natasha Webster took the team's first shot of the game that would miss just wide.
