Coach Ruston is entering his fifth year as an assistant
coach and fourth year as Defensive Coordinator at the University of Saint Mary
where he graduated with his Masters degree in Business Administration (Dec. 07)
and his Bachelors of Science in Sport Management (Dec. 05). He served as a
Graduate Assistant, coaching defensive backs, from 06-07 and as co-defensive
coordinator in 2007.
Ruston began his coaching career at William J. Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado from 1997 thru December 2002. During his
tenure he coached multiple positions on offense and defense and served as
Defensive Coordinator at both the Junior Varsity and Freshman levels.
A native of Anaheim, California, Ruston lives in Leavenworth, Kansas with his wife Jacquetta. He and Jacquetta have two children, Jacob (8)
and Jayden (5).
