The Saint Mary women's soccer team took on #15 Oklahoma Wesleyan in Bartlesville, OK on Thursday night. The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday but was pushed back due to weather. The Spires would fall by a final score of 6-0. Saint Mary is now 5-4-1 on the season and 1-2 in KCAC play.

Oklahoma Wesleyan would score three times in the first half and three more in the second. The Eagles pressured the Spires with 20 shots, nine coming on goal. Emilie Koronek and Jessica Ramirez split halves in goal. Koronek finished with two saves and Ramirez had one.

The Spires fired off seven shots in the match and were efficient with five shots coming on goal. Justine Brown and Megan McMillen led the attack with three shots each. They both had two shots on goal.

After the Eagles netted three goals in the first 19 minutes of the match, Saint Mary settled in and kept Oklahoma Wesleyan off the board while mounting several scoring chances. The Eagles would score three more times in the final 25 minutes to round out the scoring.

The women's soccer team will host Ottawa on Saturday for Homecoming. The game will begin at 5:30pm following the football game at Charles J. Berkel Memorial Stadium. Ottawa is 7-2-1 on the season and 2-1 in KCAC play.
