The Saint Mary women's lacrosse team fell to Rockhurst 24-5 in their season finale on Tuesday. The Spires finish the season 4-9. Despite the loss, the Spires earned their highest win total in the program's young history. The win total had chances to be even higher as the Spires lost four games by one goal on the season.

Rockhurst took control early on scoring the first four goals of the game and they never looked back. Julia Harvey and Karissa Proctor each scored two goals for the Spires. They each had an assist as well. Harvey had a team high in ground balls with seven. Kayla DeBlois made 12 saves in goal.

Saint Mary returns all but two players to next year's team as Carlee Brinkmann and Kristina Purinton played their final games at Charles J. Berkel Memorial Stadium on Tuesday.
